In 1986, I worked as a Sales Associate for Del Webb’s community, known as Sun City. While everything was under construction, my biggest accomplishment was being able to help with the development of Del Webb Sun City. That was truly an experience I will never forget. After that I decided to make my transition to real estate. As my husband was in the Air Force and had been in some serious situations, I felt like I needed a career that was flexible for raising my three children. Real estate was a perfect choice for this, plus it is always fun to look at beautiful homes all day. I’m proud to say that for the last twenty years I have been in Sun City, supporting residents when in need – listening and caring.
Instilled with a passion for helping others, I have always been active in the Girl Scouts, managing 13 groups and being Service Unit Chairman for the Tucson District. I’ve also done a lot of work with the Red Cross. One project I became involved with was the Humane Society and building a new space for them to continue their wonderful work. I went to the comptroller of Phelps Dodge who owned a home in Lakeside and he generously gave us one acre for $5.00. My husband then drew up the plans for the Humane Society and we had Blue Ridge High School build everything for credit. It was so rewarding to see so many people come together for such a worthy cause.
Originally from Shawnee, Oklahoma, I have lived in Tucson since 1969 after living all over the world. I love everything about the Old Pueblo! During my leisure time, I can be found cooking, entertaining, going to art galleries and fine restaurants.
I am a great listener and I am happy to help my clients find what they are looking for at the price range they are comfortable with. If I can help with your real estate needs, give me a call today!
